Greetings of the Central Committee of the (new)Italian Communist Party to TKP-ML for the 52th anniversary’s commemoration of comrade İbrahim Kaypakkaya’s martyrdom – Ludwigshafen, May 10, 2025

Dear comrades,
we are grateful for the invitation to take part in this initiative in memory of comrade İbrahim Kaypakkaya.
We are in the imperialist epoch, that is, the epoch of proletarian revolution and decadence of bourgeois society. We are on the eve of a decisive turning point in the struggle between the establishment of socialism and the decadence of bourgeois society, therefore at the peak of those objective changes indicated by Lenin as features of a revolutionary situation: "(1) when it is impossible for the ruling classes to maintain their rule without any change; (2) when the suffering and want of the oppressed classes have grown more acute than usual and (3) when, as a consequence of the above causes, there is a considerable increase in the activity of the masses".
The fundamental feature of the imperialist epoch is that the production of the material conditions of human existence as commodities becomes a secondary part of the valorization of capital and of the activities of the bourgeoisie, even if it remains an ineluctable part of them: these activities are dominated by capital’s development through financial and speculative transactions. The capital employed in the production of commodities is reduced to a small part of the overall capital, to which the activities of the imperialist bourgeoisie are directed. All this is the result of and fuels the second general crisis due to absolute overproduction of capital (GCxAOC), which is causing a series of devastating consequences for the popular masses and undermine the survival of humankind and the planet: the expansion of wars and of productive activities and research aimed at war, multiplication of goods that enter as new commodities in the human consumption, the devastation of the planet, the elimination of achievements (in terms of security, equality, solidarity, education and healthcare) that the popular masses, especially in the imperialist countries, had snatched from the bourgeoisie in the period 1917-1976 and the resulting undeclared extermination war, the re-colonization of old colonial countries and former socialist countries, the inducement to emigration of populations that must leave room for plantations and mining activities, intellectual and moral brutalization.
This in turn increases the spontaneous resistance of the masses, widens the gap between the masses and the ruling class, increases the potential allies of the proletariat in the socialist revolution. This spontaneous resistance, fuelled by the bourgeoisie immersed in its crisis, is the ground that needs the work of us communists to become a rising tide and sweep away the capitalist system.
The task of the communists is to take the leadership of this resistance by transforming it into a revolutionary force that will put an end to the domination of the bourgeoisie, and thus to the development of the World War III by the US-NATO imperialist groups.
Humankind needs the conscious and organized communist movement to be reborn and strengthened until it becomes the driving force for billions of individuals. The worsening of the second GCxAOC, the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people to the genocide perpetrated by Zionists, the de facto victory of the Russian Federation in the special military operation in Ukraine against the US-NATO, EU imperialists, the growing role of the People’s Republic of China as a unifier of all countries dissatisfied with the current international order and other upheavals disrupt the system of relations that the International Community (IC) of the US, Zionists and EU imperialist groups and their accomplices has built with difficulty over the last century.
The socialist revolution, even in one or some of the major imperialist countries, is the condition to avoid an unfolding World War III and to raise up a new world wave of proletarian revolution.
We, the Italian communists, are committing all our forces to establish socialism in an imperialist country like Italy, a weak link of the IC. This contributes to the advancement of the socialist revolution in Türkiye and throughout the world and is the essence of proletarian internationalism. With this approach we wish the initiative every success and honour the memory of İbrahim Kaypakkaya, a shining example of a devoted comrade in the cause of communism.
The flame of his work burns in the struggle of millions of men and women for their emancipation!
Long live the struggle of the TKP-ML to make Türkiye a new socialist country!
